The Gift Economy is a powerful way of exchanging energy where we do what do best and love most and offer it to others without set cost, as a gift, and then they give their gifts back to us. Based on Sacred Economics by Charles Eisenstein, this method has the ability to change our economy as well as our individual lives.
In this experiential workshop we will explore the interpersonal skills and emotional awareness we need to live successfully in the gift economy. We will do exercises exploring what we want most to give and receive, looking at our blocks to giving and receiving, and asking, saying yes and no (and hearing yes and no) with enthusiasm and grace. This Mahayana tradition of mental transformation was brought to Tibet in the 11th century by the great Indian teacher Atisha.
