FREE Film Showing: "Try It On Everything": The Emotional Freedom Techniques Film
7:00pm
2244 Alder St. (Duma House)
"EFT is like an emotional form of acupuncture except we don't use needles."
This feature length film explores EFT (or "tapping") in a way that's never been done before. It combines the wisdom and experience of world famous teachers, scientists, authors, healers and motivators with an element that is usually missing in such films - REAL LIFE CASES. View trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uMs0gdF_V60
Ten people spent 4 days working with EFT practitioners to see if they could turn their lives around. These include physical and emotional healings. The results are real and documented. This film is profound, fun and engaging. (About 90 min.)
After the film you will have a chance to learn the basic technique for FREE. Bring your friends and family.

JESUS AND THE GOSPELS
with Rev. Sherry Lady, facillitator
Unity of the Valley, Corner of 39th and Hilyard
Time: 10-11:00 a.m.
No charge. Love offering welcomed.
The Wednesday Morning New Testament study group which meets from 10-11:00 in the Garden Room at Unity of the Valley, wil focus on: "Jesus and the Gospels" for a four month period betwen Oct. 7 and Jan 27, 2010. This will feature 30 minute DVD presentations by Professor Luke Timothy Johnson of Emory University followed by group discussions.
Early Christianity was prolific in its production of Gospels - narratives that in one way or another have Jesus of Nazareth as their central character. There are many more Gospels than the four included in the New Testament and are very diverse in the way they portray Jesus. The focus will be on both on Jesus and the Gospels as literary composition, learning more about how they came to be, how they related to one another, and their themes and symbolism; all of which influenced the history of the world.
Facilitator: Rev. Sherry Lady. Assisted by Rev. Ed Conrad and Tom Blank. For more information, contact Rev. Sherry 345-9913 ext. 16 or 485-6874
